3 arrested for selling alcohol to minors

Officers from the COAST21 Task Force conducted a minor decoy operation on Jan 16, in which three out of thirteen liquor store employees in Colma, Daly City, South San Francisco and Pacifica were caught selling alcohol to an police decoy, and will now face criminal prosecution, according to the Pacifica Police Department.

The arrests were made at Hillside Market in Colma, Westlake Liquors and Golden 7 Stop & Shop, both in Daly City. These businesses will now face administrative action by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, according to police.

The COAST 21 Task Force is comprised of 10 northern San Mateo County police agencies, and the Jan. 16 operation was funded by a 2008-2009 grant to the Pacifica Police Department by the ABC.
