On Tuesday there's more news of credit card information being compromised.

It is being called an inside job, after the new discovery of an American Express employee who is accused of stealing information belonging to an untold number of card holders.

Account numbers were taken, that's for sure, and potentially names, addresses, expiration dates and pin numbers too.

Customers caught up in this mess are getting letters urging them to monitor their accounts for any unusual activity.

The company is refusing to release the number of customers affected, but says the employee suspected in this case has been fired.

Just this Monday, charges were filed against three men accused of hacking into 130 million credit and debit card accounts.
