Man who attempted robbery sends apology note

A Long Island convenience store owner showed compassion a few months ago when a man tried to rob him. The store owner pulled out a rifle, the robber then explained he was just trying to feed his family.

The store owner gave him $40 and bread, and warned him never to rob again. The owner has now received $50 and an apology note from the former robber.
