People could be seen running out of some department stores around 3:30 p.m. It is unclear exactly where the shots were fired or if anyone was hit.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and took at least one person away in an ambulance. Witnesses told police the shooter took off running down the street.
Authorities do not know why the shots were fired and are still looking for the suspect.
