St. Mary's has gone from obscure little school in Moraga to the giant killers, led by Omar Samhan, whose face is everywhere now.

Regardless, the Gaels face an even bigger test in the Sweet 16 on Friday, playing Baylor in what is basically a Baylor home game.

The Baylor Bears went 27-7 this season. They have terrific guards in Tweety Carter and Lace-Darius Dunn -- Dunn averages 19 points per game.

The huge for Baylor this weekend is that they will be playing at the Reliant Center in Houston, which is just 161 miles from the Baylor campus, so they are going to fill it up with their fans.

It will be quite a difference from the shoebox size gym the Gaels play in.

"It's going to be an unreal experience. Sometime this little shoebox feels like it has about 50,000 people in here, so it's definitely the biggest gym I've ever played in, but I look forward to it and I'm excited," said Samhan.
