Police deny reports of DNA link in Stow case

LOS ANGELES

Sources tell the Times a blood-stained Dodgers jersey was handed over to investigators, but DNA tests showed no match to suspect /*Giovanni Ramirez*/ or victim /*Bryan Stow*/. A dry cleaner gave the jersey to the LAPD after someone brought it to his shop shortly after Stow was beaten on opening day at Dodger stadium.

Stow remains in a coma at San Francisco General Hospital.

Ramirez is in jail on a parole hold and has not been formally charged with the crime. Police continue to look for two other suspects in the case.
