Thieves in the North Bay are targeting Vallejo schools and stealing copper. Seven schools have been vandalized 14 times since May.

Franklin Middle School has been hit particularly hard. Criminals have taken copper wiring and pipes from the school four times, twice in the last week alone.

The damage will cost the district at least $100,000.
