Study: Women now primary bread-winners

The study, which was conducted by Larson Research and Strategy for the Allianz financial services group, found that 60 percent of women say they are now the primary bread-winner.

More than half the women surveyed described themselves as the household chief financial officer.

The study also reignited the battle of the sexes as 42 percent of the people surveyed believe that financially independent women are intimidating to men.
