Gold Ridge Fire District Battalion Chief Andy Pforsich said investigators found evidence that flammable liquid had been poured at several locations of the home on Gravenstein Highway South.
There was no power to the vacant, for sale home and the blaze was deemed suspicious, Pforsich said.
The roof and second story were destroyed and damage was estimated at $300,000.
