Anyone headed to the Capitola mall may want to be on the lookout for a mountain lion.
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department issued an alert after a security guard reported seeing a mountain lion walking near the food court Wednesday morning.
Deputies used a reverse 911 system to alert people living nearby to the sightings.
