Just before noon, five men stormed a clothing store in a strip mall on Contra Costa Boulevard.
The men tied up the clerk and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

Investigators would not say if any customers were in the shop at the time of the robbery.
