SAN BRUNO, CA --
A resident reported seeing two mountain lions walking on a trail in the San Bruno Mountain area of San Mateo County this afternoon, sheriff's spokesman Lt. Ray Lunny said.The sighting was reported around 1 p.m. but has not been substantiated, according to Lunny. Residents of Brisbane, San Bruno, South San Francisco and Daly City have been alerted through the SMC Alert system, he said.
Residents who spot a mountain lion should call 911 and not attempt to approach the animals.
