Scientists are still assessing the damage from the oil spill from the container ship that crashed into the Bay Bridge last November.
But they say there's evidence mother nature is taking care of a lot of the work.
However, a complete environmental recovery could take up to five years.
More than 2000 birds were killed because of the spill, and the cleanup effort was criticized for being too slow at first.
