Fairfield police investigate bank robbery

FAIRFIELD, CA

Police said a man walked into the bank around 10:50 a.m., approached a teller and handed the employee a note, indicating he was robbing the bank.

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Officers responded to the bank and searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

He is described as a black man in his 20s, standing 5 feet 10 inches and weighing about 170 pounds. The suspect, who either has acne or acne scars on his face, was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap with red lettering.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call Fairfield police at (707) 428-7300 or Solano Crime Stoppers at 644-STOP. A reward of up to $1,000 can be received for information leading to an arrest, according to police.
