Diners robbed at gunpoint in Gilroy

GILROY, CA

The robbery was reported at around 9:15 p.m. at the restaurant at 353 E. 10th St., according to police.

Officers responded to the incident involving three men robbing two employees and two customers at gunpoint.

The suspects did not cause any injuries, and fled the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.

The suspects fled in a dark-green sedan, possibly a 1995 Toyota Camry or similar vehicle, according to police.

One of the men wore a white hooded sweatshirt with silver color designs on the front and both sleeves, were armed with a rifle or shotgun and spoke Spanish.

The other two men were described as wearing black ski masks covering their faces and black or gray sweatshirts, according to police.
