Police responded to a report of an armed robbery around 10:40 p.m. near Steinbeck Elementary School, located in the 800 block of Steinbeck Avenue.
Police said a male suspect simulated a weapon under his shirt and demanded money from the victim before fleeing with a female counterpart.
Both suspects were taken into custody, police said.
