SF to consider cell phone radiation law

SAN FRANCISCO

The proposal would require retails to list exactly how much radio frequency energy a person absorbs when talking on a specific cell phone in the same location where a phone's price and other features are listed.

If approved the law would go into effect on Dec. 17. Retailers who broke the law would face fines of up to $500 per violation.
