Monday is the 10th annual Rosa Parks Day in California.

To celebrate the life of the civil rights icon, the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority rolled out its Rosa Parks memorial bus.

The VTA dedicated the vintage 1950s bus to honor Parks, who refused to give up her seat to a white passenger in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955.

The first seat on the bus is reserved in her honor.

Parks died in 2005. February is Black History Month.
