A young panda is safe in the wild again after a careful rescue attempt.

The panda, estimated at 3 or 4-years-old, got stuck on a mountain cliff while searching for food in China's Sichuan Province and was too scared to climb down.

Villagers spotted the animal and called animal conservationists who were able to entice the panda down with bananas and sticks.

The panda, an endangered species, is considered a national treasure in China.
