At about 11:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies spotted a suspicious vehicle in the 16000 block of Ida Clayton Road.
They found two men inside the vehicle, and discovered freshly laid drip irrigation nearby and a container with more than 1,000 marijuana seeds, according to the sheriff's office.
One man was also allegedly in possession of a loaded handgun. That man, Sonoma resident Rafael Valdovinos Maldonado, 45, was arrested on weapons violation and cultivation charges.
The second man, Alejandro Salinas-Bautista, 36, of Windsor, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and providing false identification.
