Consumer confidence increases in Silicon Valley

Consumer confidence is much higher in the Silicon Valley than the rest of the state.

A new San Jose State University survey found that 42 percent of Silicon Valley residents think the economy will improve over the next 12 months.

Only 27 percent of California's expect things to improve and that's a new low.
