Skype to expand in the Bay Area
PALO ALTO, CA
The Internet-based calling and chat service is moving to a new office in Stanford Research Park in Palo Alto this fall.
The Luxembourg-based company signed a lease for a 90,000 square foot space near other major tech and venture capital firms.
Right now, Skype has about 80 employees spread out in San Jose and Brisbane and they are expected to expand its work force.
