$20 million still available for Californians in appliance rebates

Rebates of $50 to $200 of federal stimulus money are being given out by the California Energy Commission.

Much of that money from the $30 million program was expected to be gone in weeks, if not days.

However, response to Cash 4 Appliances which began in April has been not as brisk as expected.

The appliance consumers buy must be on a pre-approved list from a pre-approved store.
