Legislator wants tolerance of Nevada pronunciation

Nevada residents will pounce on anyone who pronounces the state's name "Neh-vah-duh" -- like Mrs. Obama did in 2008.

Now a Las Vegas legislator is trying to get residents to be more tolerant of pronunciation diversity. He's proposing legislation that would make the Spanish pronunciation "Ne-vah-duh" equally acceptable.

It's sounds trivial, but residents take the issue seriously, some bloggers are calling for the assemblyman to be recalled.
