Valero, Tesoro pour money into Prop 23 campaign
SACRAMENTO, Calif.
Valero contributed an extra $1 million and Tesoro put in $500,000 to suspend California's global warming law while the economy improves.
Despite the late contributions, opponents of Prop 23 have raised almost three times as much money and the latest polls show it is likely to go down to defeat.
