Reservoirs in Bay Area quickly fill up

Here in the Bay Area, we're seeing the benefits of the December storms without all the problems. Our reservoirs are filling up nicely.

Lake Sonoma is already 91 percent full.

The East Bay watershed is 87 percent of capacity.

Crystal Springs on the peninsula is nearing the top, and the Lexington Reservoir in Los Gatos is nearly two-thirds full, after being drained dry a couple of years ago for levee work.
