Cosentino's Market closing its doors

A slice of history in San Jose is disappearing. Cosentino's Markets on South Bascom Avenue is closing its door.

The family fruit stand that grew into a gourmet food landmark had been in business for 63 years.

The three Cosentino brothers are retiring, but the closure leaves 70 employees out of work.

Another high end grocery store is expected to move into the space.
