Today, attorneys for the city of San Jose will return to court in hopes of permanently shutting down what they call the city's most dangerous nightclub. A hearing is scheduled today in San Jose superior court to permanently shut down Club Wet.

Police have been called to the Club Wet nightclub 100 times for disturbances in the last ten months. The most high profile called came early New Year's morning when a woman was severely beaten by other club-goers. According to the police report, the victim asked that police and paramedics be called, but no calls were made.

City officials temporarily pulled the club's entertainment license, but hope a judge will now allow them to shut the club permanently down.
