Haight supermarket employee arrested for shooting over his dog

A man suffered life-threatening injuries on Wednesday after he was shot in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury District in a dispute over his Chihuahua.

Officers responded to Fred's New Lite Supermarket, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his back.

Police say the victim had accused a market employee of kicking his dog.

They found a gun inside the supermarket and arrested the employee.
