The park shut down as a precautionary measure because the dog's symptoms mimicked those of an animal that had eaten poison. However, a necropsy showed no sign of any toxic substances in the dog's body.
Crews are cleaning the park Thursday morning, just as a precaution, and say they expect it to officially re-open at 1:30 p.m.
