During only weekday hours, crews will repave the highway with a fresh coat of asphalt concrete.
The area affected by repaving is six miles north of Panoramic Highway to four miles south of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Olema, Caltrans officials said.
The repaving project is expected to be complete by mid-September, officials said.
