Lucinda Moyers is accused of entering the 'Jeopardy' star's room on July 26 and taking $650 in cash and a bracelet. She claims she never entered Trebek's room.
Trebek says he injured his leg while chasing Moyers. He was in town to host the National Geographic World Championship in Mountain View.
Moyers remains in custody on $650,000 bail.
