'Urban Shield' training exercise to commence in SF area

SAN FRANCISCO The exercise is meant to test the response times and skills needed in large-scale disasters. The Alameda County Sheriff's Office, the agency response for overseeing the exercise, says motorists on the Bay Bridge shouldn't see anything except emergency vehicles on the skyway span over the weekend.
