Lasseter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was joined by some of the stars of those films, including Don Rickles, Owen Wilson, and Cheech Marin.
The ceremony comes on the same day that "Cars Two" was released on DVD. Pixar is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC7News.
