The Marin Independent Journal reports that managers at Country Villa Novato Healthcare Center in Novato have called family and friends of residents telling them not to visit. And nursing home residents are being ordered to stay in their rooms.
Health officials say since the norovirus outbreak two weeks ago, 80 residents and staff have become ill. Two residents were hospitalized, but have recovered.
