The young musicians with the Franklin Middle School band want to acknowledge the help it received during a very dark period. While the band performed a holiday concert in December, thieves stole $700 in admission money that was supposed to help support the music program. But, the community mobilized and raised more than 3-thousand dollars in donations to help buy new instruments and uniforms.
