Officials in Ohio are calling for new drilling regulations after an investigation links fracking to dozens of earthquakes.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources concluded that the earthquakes in Youngstown were probably caused by waste water from oil and gas drilling being injected into a disposal well. The process is known as fracking.

Officials want well operators to submit extensive geological data before they drill and track the drilling process electronically.
