The hole is moving dangerously close to a home in Windermere, outside of Orlando. It's now more than 100 feet wide and 50 feet deep. It's already swallowed four trees and a hammock and is inching closer to the house, which has been deemed unsafe to live in.
"When we got outside it was just dropping into the hole," tenant Lou Lambro said. "I said, it would be nice to have a pool, it's such a pretty view back there, but I didn't want this, that's a little too deep."
Sinkholes are caused when ground water builds up and dissolves minerals into the earth, creating a hole underground that eventually causes the land on top to cave in.
Neighbors there worry they could be forced out as well in the coming days.
