Men who eat chocolate appear to reduce risk of stroke

A study published in the journal Neurology found men who ate moderate amounts of chocolate had a lower risk of stroke.

Researchers studied 37,000 men in Sweden and found those who ate about a third of a cup of chocolate per week lowered their risk of stroke by 17 percent over those who didn't.

Doctors do remind people that flavonoids found in chocolate also are in much healthier foods, like apples and broccoli.
