Workers will perform traffic control and flagging operations on San Jose Avenue between St. Regis Avenue and Santa Margarita Road from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. starting Monday through Dec. 21, according to Caltrans.
The traffic control is meant to minimize traffic impacts and to ensure the safety of workers who will be erecting temporary bridgework to prepare for a bridge to be built over San Jose Avenue as part of a large-scale state Highway 4 widening project.
Motorists are advised to plan for up to 15-minute delays in the area and should leave extra time for their commute during the construction.
