Memorial concerts to be held for victims of Oikos University shooting

OAKLAND, Calif.

Monday was the anniversary of the shootings. Authorities say One Goh killed seven people in a shooting rampage last year. Goh was a former Oikos student.

Investigators say he planned the shooting after getting angry over a tuition dispute. He had previously decided to drop out of the school's nursing program.

The religious nursing and music school has struggled to recover from the incident.

Goh has pleaded not guilty to the killings and is in a psychiatric hospital after a judge in January found him incompetent to stand trial.

Saturday night's memorial concert will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 114 Montecito Ave. in Oakland.

The second concert will be in Sacramento on April 13 at 7 p.m. at Capital Korean Presbyterian Church, 1441 Tong Rd., El Dorado Hills.
