Two suspicious packages found in two different San Francisco neighborhoods this morning were determined to be harmless, police said.

Police initially responded to Polk and Filbert streets at 9:07 a.m. because of a package there.

While responding, police were alerted about a second suspicious object at 1 Market St. in the Financial District at 10:37 a.m.

More officers headed to the second location and just before noon, they determined that the package was not a threat, police said.
