Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Mandela Parkway at about 6:10 p.m., Officer R. Bowden said.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Bowden said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
No suspect information was immediately available. The shooting remains under investigation.
