San Jose's Happy Hollow Park & Zoo has received a $1 million donation, the largest in the park's 53 year history.
Happy Hollow underwent a $72 million renovation and re-opened in 2010.
The park says the money will go toward upgrading the lower zoo area, which was not part of the remodel. It will also go towards a future animal exhibit.
