The father of two had passed out after taking some medication. He had taught his 5-year-old son Jackson how to call 9-1-1, just in case.
The little boy sprang into action, calling emergency responders even though he didn't know what his emergency was, simply telling them his dad was "sick." The dispatcher stayed on the phone with Jackson trying to guide him into providing clues to locate the family. By the time they arrived, Jackson was flagging down officers to his home.
"When I was told how they got there it was a pretty awesome feeling, you know, how he stepped up," Jackson's dad said.
Jackson says he's just glad his dad is OK.
