An incredible bond has formed between a lamb and a German shepherd in Tehama County.

The Karakas family says the lamb named "Rammy" was rejected by its mother, so they took it in.

To their surprise, their 3-year-old German shepherd named "Quickie" is treating the lamb like one of her own puppies.

The inseparable duo plays together, and even cuddles.

The family says Quickie is always making sure Rammy is taken care of.

The lamb turned 5-days-old on Saturday. The family says they plan to raise him as a pet.
