Study: Sugar may be worse for your health you think

Doctors at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Emory University, and the Harvard School of Public Health found that added sugar found in processed food and drinks is tied to an increased risk of death by heart disease.

They also found that 71 percent of adults got more than the recommended 10 percent of their daily calories from added sugars.

The study is in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
