A Benicia first grade teacher, accused of serving food laced with marijuana to her colleagues at a potluck party, pleaded not guilty in a Vallejo court Friday.

Teresa Badger was arrested last month and charged with three felony counts of poisoning. Police say Badger, who works at Matthew Turner Elementary School, brought the dish to a dinner at a private home last November.

Several guests reported feeling sick after eating Badger's dish; two women went to the hospital. A 15-year-old also reported symptoms after eating some of the food the next day.

Badger has been placed on administrative leave.
