Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Fort Ord Court at about 7:50 p.m. While heading to the scene, officers were informed that a possible gunshot victim was no longer at the scene, police said.
An investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred in the area of Fort Ord Court and Charleston Drive and shots were fired.
During the investigation, officers were notified that a gunshot victim arrived at a hospital, according to police.
Police said the victim, a 38-year-old Suisun City resident, had gone into surgery. It was determined the victim was from the incident on Fort Ord Court.
The victim's condition was not immediately available.
Police arrested 34-year-old Suisun City resident Rachelle Rohde in connection with the shooting. She was booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a firearm.
