More charges are expected to be filed in the corruption case involving suspended State Senator Leland Yee and 28 defendants. But federal prosecutors aren't saying whether they plan to add new charges against Yee himself.

That announcement came in a court filing yesterday according to a report in the Chronicle. Most of the defendants are scheduled to be back in court later this morning for a status hearing.

Yee is accused of conspiring to import firearms and accepting bribes from undercover agents.
